Lynn Kilgore, CAE, BIAE - Executive Director

Lynn Kilgore joined the Association as its Executive Director in 1985. Under her guidance, the Association has increased its membership three-fold, increased Association sponsored events, created the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Foundation and was instrumental in the building of the new Association office building, and helped in creating programs to improve the professional image of the home building industry. As the Executive Director, Lynn is responsible for the overall management of the Association and its events and activities, as well as Foundation events and activities.

Loretta Albanese - Administrative Assistant

Loretta Albanese, our Administrative Assistant, is the first contact for members and the general public when calling or stopping by the office. Among her many duties, she maintains the reservation book for the conference rooms, provides information on meetings and current events,updates the websites and takes reservations for events and lunch meetings. She assists consumers with member referrals and general information.

Kristen Carroll - Membership Services Coordinator

Kristen Carroll joined the staff in June, 2008 as its Membership Services Coordinator and is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of membership recruitment and retention programs. She is responsible for recruiting and retaining volunteers for HBA’s committees and programs and communicating services and benefits to all current and potential members, maintaining membership contest records and maintenance of the membership database. She is responsible for all aspects of arranging the annual golf tournaments and the Spring Bass Tournament. She is the staff liaison for the Membership Committee and Associate Council.

Sherdian Stanford - Publications/Communications Coordinator

Sherdian Stanford joined the staff in January, 1998 as its administrative assistant/receptionist, and moved into the position of Publications/Communications Coordinator in January 2001. Sherdian is responsible for the publishing of the Association's magazine, The Cornerstone, the "Official Subdivision & Builders Guide©" and the annual Membership Directory and New Member Supplement, to include advertising and printing. Sherdian assists in the design of posters, flyers and brochures used by the Association. Sherdian assists with the design and maintenance of the Association's five (5) web sites: www.buildersassn.org; www.buildinghomeandremodelingshow.com; www.springtourofhomes.com; www.madisoncountyparadeofhomes.com; and www.officialsubdivisionguide.com.

Kelly Beane - Financial Coordinator

Kelly Beane joined the Association staff in November 2006 as an accounting assistant and assumed the full responsibility of maintaining the financial records of the Foundation, the Association, Showcase Home LLC, and all its Councils and committees in June 2009. Kelly is responsible for the accounting procedures and maintains the membership database.

Tricia Lamb - Assistant Financial Coordinator

Tricia Lamb joined the Association staff in October 2009 as an accounting assistant. Tricia is responsible for the accounts receivable, maintaining all Council membership reports & budgets, monthly billing and data entry into the membership database.

Joe Gehrdes - Governmental Affairs Liaison

Joe Gehrdes became the GA Liaison in June 2001 and is the staff liaison for the Governmental Affairs Committee. Joe attends all the City of Huntsville, City of Madison and Madison County regulatory meetings and reports to the Executive Director and the Governmental Affairs Committee on issues that affect the Association's membership and the building industry. Joe schedules roundtable meetings with local inspection departments, water departments and engineering departments. During elections, Joe arranges meetings with proposed candidates to determine ABPAC support. He also serves as staff liaison to the Remodelors Council.

Coriamber Hogan-Rodriguez - Events Coordinator

Coriamber Hogan-Rodriguez, the Events Coordinator, is responsible for the coordination of the major events of the Association, such as the Spring Tour of HomesSM, the Parade of Homes, the Home & Outdoor Living Expo and the Building, Home & Remodeling ShowSM. Additionally, she coordinates the monthly general membership meetings and other social and networking activities of the Association. She also serves as staff liaison to the Sales & Marketing Council and the Women's Council.
