The Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association (H/MCBA) is a non-profit trade association which has a membership of 1,400+ business firms employing 30,000+ persons in Madison County and the adjunct areas. Our Association is a local chapter of the Home Builders Association of Alabama (HBAA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Chartered in 1957, our association is comprised of builder, associate and affiliate members. These members include builders, remodelers, developers, subcontractors, suppliers, financial institutions, Realtors and other trades that are connected with the home building industry.

The Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association produces the Building, Home & Remodeling Show^sm, the Spring Tour of Homes and the Parade of Homes featuring the Showcase Home annually. These special events take place to promote the building industry and provide the consumer with an opportunity to view the newest in building technology.

Our Association provides its members with benefits which include insurance benefits, Workers Compensation insurance, educational courses and seminars, networking opportunities, recreational activities such as golf and bass tournaments and consumer referrals.

For consumers, our Association provides educational opportunities during its Building, Home & Remodeling Show^sm on “How to Select a Builder or Remodeler;” Mortgage Financing;” “Latest in Building Technology for Your Home; and much more. Our Association also provides consumers with a listing of its licensed contractors and subcontractors, the “Official Subdivision Guide,” and other helpful information on the purchase and maintenance of a new home.

The purpose of the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association is to promote good, quality and affordable housing for the citizens in the area as well as providing its membership with services such as networking, product information, educational programs, insurance benefits and the monitoring of regulations which affect the building industry. The H/MCBA promotes professionalism and high ethical standards among its membership.
